Add a product to the Customer Portal

Question:

I had to got to the Item Master Data to add a item to the Customer Portal. I can't find a checkbox or field to do so. How do I add a product to the customer portal?

Answer:

When you're in the Item Master Data, you'll have to turn on the user-defined fields by going to View > User-Defined Fields.

There you should see a menu on the right hand side of the Item master that says something like "Show in Portal" which will have a drop down menu of Y or N in respects to whether or not you want to show that particular item.
