BOM Revision

Overview

The BOM Revision tool allows you to keep track of changes to a BOM and restore old versions.

Summary

The BOM Revision tool adds the functionality into OBeer to keep track of the versions of a Bill of Materials. When you make a significant change, OBeer will assign the new version a new number, copy the old version to a history table, and capture all the info about who made the change and when. Because we capture the original version, you can pull it back up in the future and restore the BOM to the older version.

What has Changed in OBeer 3.0

  2. Make desired edits to the recipe
  3. Click Update > A System Message appears asking if you would like to save the BOM Version
  4. Click Yes > a Save BOM Version window opens
  5. Fill in the Name and Comments you wish to use for this version
  6. Click Save
  7. The version is now saved!
