Quick Start: Available-to-Promise

If you were to look at the Inventory Data tab of your Item Master, you might see some numbers under the In Stock, Committed, Ordered and Available columns. These numbers point to documents in which the item is involved with. Sometimes, you may wish to audit those numbers to see if you have a stray Production Order or Purchase Order that was left in limbo and you simply forgot to close or finish. To do so:

  1. Go to the Item Master Data for the item in question
  2. Right click and choose Available-To-Promise
  3. A new window will pop-up indicating what document is involved to make up that number

 

Alternatively, you can also run the ATP report under Inventory->Orchestrated Reports->Available to Promise
